    First, I want to say thank you for writing this! I needed to hear it at this point in my life. Second, I loved the humor in here and I definitely love your chapter on using your imagination as a tool to achieving your goals. —————————————————— This book is truly a breath of fresh air. I laughed, I cried and I related. Especially being a working mom. I really appreciated her raw honesty. You definitely cannot go wrong reading this book. If anything you might be able to add a few more tricks to your bag for helping you to deal with life.

    I can barely get past the first ten pages. First of all, I did not realize this was going to be a faith based book. My bad. Maybe it doesn’t turn out to be but she’s mentioned her (or my) faith several times already. But I think what is worse is that she goes on and on and on about why she is so absolutely not perfect, or limited, or flawed. Duh! There’s no breakthrough there. Don’t we all know no one is perfect and we all know that the life people portray on social media is not real? As an individual reading her book, why does she assume I would ever be envious of her life or I think she had everything together? Wish I could return as I will not be able to bring myself to finish this one.

    I was excited to read this for myself after hearing so many positive reviews. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it. A little too condescending towards those who aren’t as successful as she with a “major media company” and a little too “I’m the hardest worker in the room, etc”. I felt like her chapter on her bad relationship turned marriage could be taken the wrong way for those women in a bad relationship hoping he’ll turn around.

    This book brought out many repressed factors of my life. Many factors I feel (felt) defined me. Those factors didn’t , I do. I DEFINE ME! I am making changes for me, changes that make ME the happy, loving person I really AM!

    I heard this author on a podcast say she never reads reviews. That’s too bad because she should know what she said about her husband is downright dangerous to women. Ladies most guys who treat you how he did are not going to suddenly become healthy partners. Furthermore I find it astounding that so many say this book changed their lives. It’s so basic and rips off everything that’s already out there. Just a compilation of other people’s work and ideas who are actually qualified to give advice, but said in a sassy little privileged way. I would have more respect if she actually referenced her quotes and information but she doesn’t even give people credit for what she so clearly has taken from others. I’m the last one to want to hate on another woman but this is just trite garbage.

    Maybe I missed this and it’s my fault, but I don’t have the same belief system and I feel like I bought a very religious book when I thought it would be helpful for everyone. I was disappointed.

    I recently deleted all my social media for a while because I’m trying to make all the changes necessary for a healthier lifestyle, no matter how small! So I made a list of books that I could read while I bored at work now that I don’t have social, This was the first one I chose! I absolutely loved everything about it!!!!
